


Awel Môr is a contemporary new restaurant which has recently opened at the Webley Hotel, Poppit Sands near Cardigan, offering fine dining using food sourced primarily from local suppliers.
New Head Chef Adam Birch has joined the hotel’s team to create an exciting menu for the tastefully designed restaurant.

The best quality fresh food is the key to the ethos of the new restaurant. Adam, who originally trained as a chef with the Royal Navy, has won many awards and accolades over the last 12 years including 2AA rosettes in 2006, he was short listed for the National Pub Chef of the Year in 2006/07 and runner up of the Restaurant Magazine National Menu of the year in 2006/07. His International experience includes being short listed for the new Australian restaurant of the year in 2008/09 and an 18/20 food critic review in Australia’s morning herald being awarded 2 chefs hats, equivalent to 1-2 Michelin stars. He has worked in some of Sydney’s finest restaurants and also had experience in south east Asia. Previously he was head chef at the Dartmoor Union Inn in Devon a 2AA Rosette entry in the Michelin good pub guide and Les Routiers National Dining Pub of the year in 2005/06.
